Channels
You
can now engage, educate and influence an online community of over
160,000 UK children, who are hungry to learn. Through a dedicated
online community Learning Channel, we can immerse children in your
issues and stimulate their innermost, in-depth and long-term participation.
Your
Learning Channel will focus around a dedicated online magazine (Club
or
Zine) where your assigned Learning Channel Editor will work with
you to create stimulating editorial and involve children in creative
challenges that they pursue in school and at home, often involving
their teachers and parents. The children can submit their own articles
and content to your Club, which in turn stimulates other children’s
activity, and so they build up a rich resource by-children-for-children.
The
Learning Channel Editor and the community Mediators work together
to stimulate the children’s engagement with your issues. They will
develop and promote a rich range of activities around the club, including
quizzes and competitions, Instant Polls and Research Surveys. They
will stimulate Forum discussions and run expert Hot Seats with your
staff and invited experts - and everything will be focussed on your
issues.
The
One World Zone, for example is sponsored by the Department for International
